Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling, days every third weekend, nights every other weekend, holidays rotate with perm staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care to patients from neonates to geriatrics across all inpatient areas
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and spirometry with precision and compassion
Collaborate seamlessly with RT teams, providers, and nursing for optimal patient outcomes
Adapt to diverse patient levels daily, bringing your flexibility and time management skills to the forefront
Float throughout the hospital in RT capacity, making a meaningful impact everywhere you go

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
RRT or CRT credential essential
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience a must
NRP and PALS preferred for well-rounded expertise
Valid driver's license required
Outside 50-mile radius from facility, no current employment with CommonSpirit affiliates

Education

RRT or CRT certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
Skilled with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion vents
Experienced with Bipap models like Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T
Strong in high flow therapy using Airvo2
Excellent time management, flexibility, adaptability, communication, and teamwork
