Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and titrate respiratory support to optimize patient outcomes in a busy acute care setting
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results to guide respiratory therapies
• Deliver nebulizer treatments and other aerosolized therapies safely and effectively
• Assist with intubation, rapid responses and codes as a confident team member
• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality critical care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience (explicitly listed)
• Strong critical care and ventilator management skills (must-have)
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
• Familiarity with Meditech and prior ventilator experience are preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management (Servo and 840 mentioned as unit equipment)
• ABG sampling and interpretation from arterial lines and sticks
• Nebulizer treatments and aerosol therapy
• Assisting with intubation and participating in rapid response/code teams
