Location: Henderson, Nevada

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support the team
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips with ACLS and AFM expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Experience with high-risk laboring patients and antepartum care
Comfortable with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and C-section circulation
Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Independent decision-making for high-risk deliveries
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
C-section circulation and recovery
Floating flexibility across L&D and postpartum units
