Shift Type: 24 hours on, 24 hours on call (10 minutes response), 96 hours off
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide professional and compassionate care to patients of all ages in pre-hospital and hospital settings
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver appropriate treatments according to established guidelines
- Administer medications safely using the five patient rights and standing orders
- Document all assessments, treatments, and patient status changes in a timely manner
- Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and ensure smooth transfers between facilities
- Supervise EMTs and maintain safety for staff, patients, and bystanders during emergency responses
- Adjust workload and staffing needs as situations evolve to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Paramedic License with Minnesota license required
- NREMT-P certification
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- ND license or compact license with proof of privilege to practice
- ALS level of care experience
- Preferred intubation experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) procedures
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Medication administration and titration of drips including nitroglycerin, heparin, IV fluids, and vasopressors
- CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator management
- Intubation skills preferred
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
