Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule made 6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
- Titrate critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin with confidence
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently while delivering safe patient care
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy to troubleshoot vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen needs
- Float within Zone 1 facilities to support patients across varying acuity levels from ICU to med-surg tele
- Mentor new travelers and contribute to a positive, team-first culture
Qualifications
- Active Colorado or compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years plus Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers)
- Comfortable floating across a 60-mile zone and working in multiple ICU settings
- Epic charting experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and drip titration skills
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
- Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Flexibility to float between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and med-surg tele units
- Excellent communication and adaptability in a float-pool environment
