Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
- Monitor and recover patients following interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body IR cases including chemoembolization, Y-90, and vascular access procedures
- Support patients through CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ablations, and other minimally invasive treatments
- Deliver compassionate care to both outpatient and inpatient populations in a Level I trauma setting
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification preferred
- Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Interventional Radiology experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Comfort working in a fast-paced radiology environment
- Ability to manage patients on vents and tele monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
