Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
- Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
- Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry
- Collaborate with attendings, fellows, and residents to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Float to inpatient units as needed while maintaining excellence in every assignment
- Respond to Rapid Response Teams and Codes alongside the Charge Nurse
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Ability to pass a 90% open-book skills exam during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-acuity settings
- Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen support
- Comfort managing lines such as CVPs, arterial lines, Swans, and ICP monitoring
- Familiarity with Impella, balloon pump, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols is a plus
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
