Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
- Perform advanced neuro assessments and manage ICP monitoring with precision
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute
- Float between ICU and Telemetry units while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
- Support complex procedures including craniotomies, brain tumor removals, and spine surgeries
- Maintain sterile technique during essential skills like Foley catheter insertion and central line care
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 2 years of ICU experience in a large hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD skills are a must
- At least 3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring expertise
Knowledge & Skills
- Neuro ICU nursing with Level 1 Trauma exposure
- Cerner EMR documentation
- Phillips telemetry monitoring and ventilator management
- Floating comfortably between ICU and Telemetry units
- Maintaining sterile field during critical procedures
