Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Stockton, California
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights of call per 4-week schedule) and weekend call every 2nd or 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team during complex cardiac procedures
- Monitor patients throughout surgery and respond swiftly to any changes
- Prepare the OR with precision and ensure all equipment is ready for each case
- Support general OR cases when needed, expanding your skill set across specialties
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner throughout every procedure
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Cerner experience required
- No first-time travelers
- Previous CVOR experience strongly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cerner documentation system
- Ability to handle a high-volume OR with 23-25 cases daily
- Comfortable floating between CVOR and Main OR when needed
- Skilled in general surgery, vascular, ortho, endo, urology, and open heart procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
