Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Sacramento, California

End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 10-hour shifts with overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG and valve surgeries
- Interpret EKG strips and monitor patients throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team in a fast-paced environment
- Provide exceptional patient care during all heart surgeries
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with surgical instrumentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Strong scrubbing skills in cardiovascular procedures
- First-time travelers welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- CVOR specialty experience
- EKG interpretation
- Cerner EMR proficiency
- Strong cardiovascular surgical knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR setting
