Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications with precision and safety
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while collaborating with the tele tech team
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining excellent patient ratios
- Respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required
- Support patients and families through critical moments with empathy and expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Willingness to complete open-book skills exam during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU nursing with telemetry and drip titration expertise
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to float between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg as needed
- Comfortable managing vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Flexible with rotating shifts and holiday coverage
