Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied start times, no block scheduling
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Cover all three phases of endoscopy care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation while ensuring patient safety
- Circulate during MAC cases and serve as dedicated sedator during procedural sedation cases
- Respond to bedside procedures in the ER and ICU when needed
- Collaborate with physicians and techs to deliver smooth, high-quality endoscopic care
- Participate in call rotation including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural experience
- Experience with procedural sedation is required
- Call experience required
- Comfortable floating between two nearby campuses
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchs, EUS, and PEG procedures
- Skilled in recovering MAC and procedural sedation patients
- Familiarity with scope care and equipment management
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
