Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Perform thorough assessments and continuously evaluate patient condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Document patient care, interventions and outcomes clearly in the electronic chart
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
• Advocate for patient safety and uphold facility quality and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact RN privileges where applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Willingness to work Wednesday through Friday day shifts and engage as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient/family education
