Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
Perform advanced neuro assessments and manage ICP monitoring with precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the renowned Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Support complex procedures including craniotomies, brain tumor removals, and spine surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license and 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD skills are essential
3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience preferred
Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring expertise

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Ventilator management and Phillips monitoring systems
Maintaining sterile field during catheter and central line procedures
Floating comfortably between ICU and Telemetry units
Working 1:2 ratios in a fast-paced neuro critical care environment
