Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
Perform advanced neuro assessments and manage ICP monitoring with precision
Care for patients undergoing complex procedures including craniotomies, brain tumor removals, and spine surgeries
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
Mentor new staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility (450+ beds)
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring skills
EVD experience is a must
3-6 months of travel nursing experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience is a plus

Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
