Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients within the MST specialty
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and document outcomes clearly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
• Actively participate in shift handoffs and communicate changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with facility policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact RN license
• Experience working as an RN in acute care or specialty practice; MST experience is a plus
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by facility
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate quickly with care teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals and patient safety principles
• Familiarity with MST specialty practices and protocols
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and clinical documentation
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and staff
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and standard clinical tools
