Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to patients on a General Medicine unit
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage treatment plans
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience in medical-surgical or acute care setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
Knowledge of general medicine protocols and procedures
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Empathy and patience in patient interactions
