Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, working every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a general medicine unit
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Illinois (or compact license)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
