Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a general medicine unit
Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate patient-centered approach
