Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns across LDRP, MedSurg, and ER units
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium with precision
Collaborate with the care team to follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics
Float where needed to support the entire hospital team during high-census times

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience and strong fetal monitoring skills
Ability to read and interpret fetal strips independently
Critical thinking and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips
Critical thinking and quality-metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry and TraceView/PIP EFM systems
