Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in L&D and postpartum settings
Circulate C-sections and support high-risk deliveries with confidence
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to changing patient needs
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call specialists for seamless care
Follow AWHONN guidelines and honor personalized birth plans every step of the way

Qualifications

Active California RN license
2 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Travel experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring and C-section circulating skills
Comfortable floating between L&D and postpartum units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to support high-risk deliveries starting at 34 weeks
