Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring mothers as they bring new life into the world
Support families through postpartum recovery with expert guidance and encouragement
Scrub, circulate, and recover C-section patients with confidence and precision
Monitor fetal well-being using advanced Obix technology and respond swiftly to changes
Collaborate with a dynamic team to manage high-risk deliveries down to 23 weeks
Float to postpartum when needed, offering couplet care that strengthens family bonds

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Advanced AWHONN certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Proven ability to scrub, circulate, and recover C-sections
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expert fetal monitoring with Obix system
Comfort managing high-risk antepartum patients and hypertensive disorders
Strong teamwork in a fast-paced L&D environment
Clear communication with physicians, scrub techs, and families
