Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM / 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), including every third weekend and holidays as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including circulating in the OR for C-sections
- Perform thorough newborn assessments and provide routine baby care
- Care for postpartum mothers and infants, ensuring a safe recovery
- Titrate drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, residents, and CRNAs
- Float to postpartum unit as needed to support patient care
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Ability to circulate in the OR for C-sections
- Strong assessment skills for both mother and newborn
- Willingness to float to postpartum unit

- Teamwork and flexibility in a high-acuity unit
