Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to medical ICU patients with complex conditions
Monitor and manage ventilators, titrate medications, and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families
Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with hospital protocols

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and emergency interventions
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Compassionate patient-centered care and family support
