Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications to maintain patient stability
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing ventilators from nasal cannula to full support
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver safe, patient-centered care
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining the same high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration and ventilator management
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
