Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing to adult patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing complex cardiac and medical conditions
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips to optimize patient outcomes
Collaborate with respiratory therapists on ventilator and airway management
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining safe patient ratios
Respond promptly to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
Strong telemetry monitoring and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and intervention
Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
Ventilator and respiratory support management
Drip titration and medication administration
Patient education and family communication
