Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care to diverse ICU patients across multiple specialties
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while providing expert ventilator management
Float throughout the zone to support various ICU units and patient acuity levels
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to patients requiring CRRT, IABP, and Impella support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable with floating across multiple ICU specialties and acuity levels

Knowledge & Skills

Expert critical care assessment and intervention skills
Proficient with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
Strong understanding of cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Ability to manage complex medication drips and advanced life support equipment
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating assignments
