Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
At least 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every third weekend
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and patient monitoring
Proficiency in using electronic health records
Ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
