Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Nights, 36 hours/week, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in our Medical Intensive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications and interventions with precision and care
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery

Qualifications

Current RN license in Illinois (or compact license accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and patient monitoring
Proficiency with ventilators, IV pumps, and other ICU equipment
Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
