Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours total

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Respond quickly and effectively to trauma, burns, and critical conditions
Collaborate with a dynamic team of physicians, mid-levels, and support staff
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
Float between multiple ER locations to support patient care needs across the system
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and skills validations
Educate and support patients and families during high-stress moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ATCN preferred
Minimum 2 years of ER experience with at least 6 months in a Level 1 trauma center
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment skills validation including SIMs Lab

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in fast-paced ER settings
Comfortable floating between multiple facilities and adapting quickly
Proficient with Phillips telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Skilled in trauma response, sterile procedures, and emergency protocols
Reliable transportation and flexibility for mid-shift floating
