Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied start times, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Cover all three phases of endoscopy care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery
Administer and monitor MAC sedation and procedural sedation for patients
Circulate during MAC cases and serve as sedator during procedural sedation cases
Perform bedside procedures in the ER and ICU when needed
Respond to call within 30 minutes during weeknight, weekend, and holiday rotations
Collaborate with techs and physicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural experience
Experience with procedural sedation required
Call experience required
Ability to work varied shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchs, EUS, and PEG placements
Skilled in procedural sedation and patient monitoring
Comfortable recovering MAC sedation patients
Familiar with scope care and equipment management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
