Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care during EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsy procedures
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia is unavailable
Document patient information accurately using Cerner-Surginet
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to PACU/ACU as needed to support patient care across units
Respond to emergency cases with professionalism and compassion

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
At least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
Moderate Sedation experience preferred
Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Moderate Sedation administration
Cerner and Surginet documentation systems
GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and MRCP
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float between units and adapt quickly
