Shift Type: Varied shifts, 8 hours, with weekend call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care during EGDs, Colonoscopies, ERCPs, MRCPs, and biopsies
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable
Document patient information accurately using Cerner-Surginet
Respond to emergency cases with confidence and skill
Float to PACU and ACU units to support your colleagues and grow your expertise

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications
At least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
Moderate Sedation experience required
Prior Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Moderate Sedation techniques
Cerner and Cerner-Surginet charting systems
GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and MRCP
Strong assessment and emergency response skills
Ability to float between Endo/GI, PACU, and ACU units
