Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed in interview; weekly weeknight call plus weekend call (about 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents during ERCP procedures to treat bile and pancreatic duct issues
Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processors while assisting with fine needle aspiration tools for EUS tissue biopsies
Set up advanced electrocautery equipment, injection needles, and snares for EMR/ESD procedures removing complex polyps
Handle specialized balloon catheters for enteroscopy procedures visualizing and treating the small bowel
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup for endolumenal surgery cases
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes following SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures
Experience with ERCP, EUS, and other specialized endoscopic procedures preferred
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% score during orientation
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery procedures
Proficiency in scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection standards
Strong circulating and teching abilities in GI lab settings
Familiarity with EMR documentation systems
Understanding of SGNA guidelines and manufacturer reprocessing standards
