Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed in interview; weekly weeknight call plus weekend call (about 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate and tech advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents for bile and pancreatic duct treatments
Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound processors while assisting with fine needle aspiration tools
Set up advanced electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for complex polyp removal
Handle balloon catheters for small bowel visualization and treatment
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures
Experience with ERCP, EUS, and other specialized endoscopic procedures preferred
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Endoscopy and GI Lab expertise
Scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection
Advanced procedure support including ERCP and EUS
Equipment troubleshooting and setup
Patient safety and infection control standards
