Location: College Station, Texas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day and night shifts starting at 6:45 AM/PM, with midshifts at 9, 11, 1, 3; every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, cardiac, stroke, and trauma
Perform triage, interpret cardiac rhythms, and administer critical medications and drips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, midlevels, and support staff to stabilize and treat patients
Provide compassionate care in a Level III trauma center and STEMI/stroke receiving facility
Care for patients in a fast-paced environment with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
Must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia test with 83% or higher before contract start (three attempts allowed)
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in emergency room nursing, including triage, trauma care, and cardiac care
Skilled in EKG interpretation and advanced dysrhythmia recognition
Experience with pediatric, stroke, and STEMI protocols
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills
