Location: Glendale, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Perform diagnostic tests including labs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
Manage intravenous lines, central lines, and port-a-cath insertions
Assist with patient transfers and stabilization for higher acuity care
Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, mid-levels, and paramedics
Maintain a positive culture and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ED experience preferred but not required
Strong understanding of sterile technique and central line care
Ability to pass SIMs lab skills on day 1 of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with a variety of patient acuities (ESI 3-4)
