Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts with overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and assist in complex cardiovascular surgeries including CABG and valve procedures
Monitor and interpret EKG strips to ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Provide exceptional patient care during all heart surgeries with confidence and skill
Adapt quickly to changing schedules and cover call when cases run long

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
BLS certification required
Strong scrubbing skills in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips confidently
First-time travelers welcome with solid CVOR background

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures and sterile technique
Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong EKG interpretation abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork in high-pressure situations
Flexible and reliable with call and weekend coverage
