Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, negotiable shifts with one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care during open heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the CVOR
Scrub in to assist with holding the heart and closing the chest when needed
Float to General OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support urgent surgical needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Open Heart and/or Endovascular experience required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room procedures
Ability to scrub and assist in complex cardiac cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 facilities as needed
