Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Admit and recover patients in a fast-paced Cath Lab Pre/Post Recovery unit with 23 bays (16 beds + 7 radial lounge chairs)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, RT, and pharmacy available 24/7
• Monitor vital signs, manage IV lines, and respond to emergencies with confidence
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during their recovery journey in a brand-new state-of-the-art campus

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or Pre/Post Recovery experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EPIC and PYXIS systems
• Comfortable with call schedule and flexible shift timing
• Ability to respond within 30-60 minutes when on call

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in admit/recovery nursing for cardiac and interventional cases
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a high-acuity setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with ultrasound IV starts preferred
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical attire protocols
