Location: Boise, Idaho

Start Date: 02-08-2026

End Date: 03-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Saturday-Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with one call shift per month and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality orthopedic radiologic procedures with precision and care
Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images
Collaborate with orthopedic physicians to capture optimal views
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technology)
Current BLS and PALS certifications
Strong experience in orthopedic radiology (at least 1 year preferred)
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and take call shifts
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on image quality
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of radiographic positioning for orthopedic imaging
Proficiency in PACS and electronic health record systems
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Team collaboration and adaptability to changing schedules
