Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the Radiology program and ensure high-quality imaging services across the facility
Track incoming radiology studies to confirm proper submission and timely reporting
Provide PACS training and support to staff to improve workflow and image management
Maintain and update radiology policies, procedures, and QA/QC activities to meet regulatory standards
Coordinate radiology equipment maintenance, inspections, and vendor quotes
Manage the radiation protection monitoring program and perform lead apron testing
Work with clinic administrators, medical directors, and finance to optimize revenue capture and chargemaster accuracy
Supervise radiology staff, conduct evaluations, and ensure ongoing competency and training

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Registered Mammographer preferred
Registered Ultrasound Technologist preferred
Minimum 5 years' experience in Radiology Management and supervision
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Radiology Technologist
PACS training required; CT and MRI technologist experience preferred
Knowledge of MQSA requirements and federal/state/accreditation regulations

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology

Knowledge & Skills

PACS and digitized imaging workflows
Quality assurance and quality control best practices
Radiation protection and lead apron testing procedures
Radiology equipment maintenance and inspection oversight
Chargemaster management and revenue capture strategies
Strong written and oral communication, documentation, and transcription follow-up
Ability to multi-task, train staff, and create clear radiology manuals and procedures
