Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, precise radiation therapy treatments including IMRT, SRS and SBRT to adult patients
• Operate and maintain treatment units such as Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity with care and attention
• Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging and simulation tasks to ensure accurate treatment positioning
• Document treatments and chart care in Epic and Mosaiq accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (radiology, respiratory services, social services, lift teams) to optimize patient care
• Provide patient and family education, including treatment expectations and safety precautions
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, isolation precautions and proper PPE use
• Float between like units as needed to support patient care and staffing

Qualifications

• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience (posting notes first-timers accepted; confirm at submission)
• Charting experience with Epic and familiarity with Mosaiq preferred/required
• Experience with IMRT, SRS, SBRT, CBCT and treatment simulation preferred
• Pending licenses are not accepted; include RTO restrictions with submission as requested
• Willingness to float between like units and work collaboratively across teams

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiation Therapy delivery: IMRT, SRS, SBRT and External Beam Therapy
• Treatment units: Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity operation
• Imaging: CBCT/kV/mV imaging and B-Mode acquisition targeting
• Treatment planning and simulation support, field shaping and beam modifying
• Respiratory gating and stereotactic procedures
• Charting systems: Epic and Mosaiq proficiency
• Radiation safety, isolation precautions and patient teaching
• General skills: emergency case handling, lift/transfer devices, chart checks
