Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with care and precision to deliver quality imaging
Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain proper protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and imaging staff to support timely patient care
Prepare and position patients thoughtfully, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure images are properly labeled and stored
Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

Active radiologic technologist licensure/certification as required by state and employer
Familiarity with standard radiographic procedures and imaging protocols
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating with care teams
Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent clinical training

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Ability to operate digital radiography systems and PACS
Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Strong teamwork and time-management skills
