Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate critical care
Manage ventilators including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory systems
Administer surfactant and nitric oxide therapies to improve tiny lungs
Acquire and interpret blood gases for precise newborn interventions
Collaborate with NICU team to support 36-bed unit during peak times

Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist license
1+ year of experience, with Level 3 NICU preferred or 3-5 years Level 2 NICU
NRP certification required
STABLE certification a plus for top consideration

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide, and Vapotherms
Proficiency in Meditech and NeoNotes EMR systems
Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making
Detail-oriented approach with a positive attitude
