Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

End Date: 07-08-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call requirement one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub complex cardiac, vascular and thoracic procedures like CABG, valves and TAVR
Support open heart surgeries and level 2 trauma cases with precision
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 3 staff per OR to deliver exceptional patient care
Respond promptly to calls within 30 minutes to ensure patient safety
Utilize Meditech EMR to maintain accurate records and streamline operations

Qualifications

CST/ORT certification with 2+ years of OR experience
Proven cardiac, vascular and thoracic experience required
Punctual with 30-minute call back availability
Flexible schedule and team player mindset

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) credentials

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases
Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records
Proficiency with advanced equipment for open heart procedures
Strong attention to detail and quick decision-making under pressure
