Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM with varying weekends (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical respiratory care across adult, NICU and peds service lines
Operate advanced equipment like GE R860 vents and Draeger infant vents with confidence
Manage patient ratios of 10-25 while providing top-notch therapy
Float to critical care units and floors to make a real impact everywhere
Collaborate with a 120-strong team in a bustling 854-bed hospital

Qualifications

Active North Carolina Respiratory License
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
At least 1 year of experience to hit the ground running

Education

Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents and Newport transport vents
Proficient in V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm and high flow oxygen systems
Comfortable navigating Cerner EMR
NRP certification is a fantastic plus
