Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum 3 weekend shifts per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care to post-open heart patients and high-acuity cases
Perform intubations and manage hemodynamic monitoring with precision
Operate advanced equipment like Impella heart pumps and CRRT systems
Respond swiftly to rapids and code blues as part of the critical care team
Collaborate with the team to maintain 1:2 patient ratios in a 12-bed SICU
Float to PCU or med-surg units as needed to support the facility
Ensure outstanding patient experience through clear communication and timely care

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience
Cardiac critical care experience is a must
BLS and ACLS certifications required, CCRN is a fantastic plus

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing including intubations and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with Impella heart pump and CRRT
Comfortable using Meditech documentation and Hemosphere monitoring platform
Ability to care for post-op open heart patients
