Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care hospital setting to create personalized care plans
Deliver hands-on therapy using innovative techniques to improve patient function and mobility
Coordinate therapeutic care across units while supervising rehab team members
Communicate progress effectively with patients, families and hospital staff
Make a real difference in recovery for diverse cases from orthopedics to neurology

Qualifications

Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong background in acute care procedures
Expertise in orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary rehab
Comfortable navigating Cerner Power Chart documentation
Skilled in patient lifting equipment like SARA+ and gait training tools
