Shift Type: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage medical telemetry patients with precision and care on a bustling 5W Medicine unit
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, CNAs, and support staff to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Utilize cutting-edge equipment like remote telemetry, Cerner EMR, and mobile workstations for seamless care
Prepare patients for procedures while maintaining compassionate, team-oriented support in a fast-paced environment
Float to sister med-surg units to share your expertise and make an impact across the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
BLS certification required, CMSRN encouraged to shine
Comfortable in a dynamic med-surg telemetry setting with patient ratios around 1:5-7

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medical telemetry and patient monitoring
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and advanced equipment like VC150s and Tap and Go systems
Strong teamwork and compassion in fast-paced environments
Bonus points for leadership, charge nurse experience, or BSN
